Reading keeps our brain active, fosters text comprehension, improves our grammar, vocabulary and writing abilities. Besides, there is no better way to improve our linguistic abilities than reading, reading, and reading.
For translators and interpreters, this is an essential task, it is paramount for us to always keep up to date with whatever is going on and constantly improve our knowledge.
To celebrate this special day, I have chosen El juego del alma by Javier Castillo, a writer from Malaga, the town where I live.

La lectura mantiene nuestra mente activa, ayuda a la comprensión de textos, mejora la gramática, el vocabulario y la escritura.
Además, no hay mejor forma de mejorar el nivel lingüístico que leer, leer y leer y para un traductor o un intérprete esta es una tarea fundamental, es imprescindible mantenernos siempre al día y aumentar nuestros conocimientos.
